What Chase Bank did:
I deposited a check for 10,000 on Monday August 23. This is pretty routine, I am a very small general contractor and my clients rely on me to acquire material to carry out the work I do. I had 500 or so in the account before this and was relying on those funds to order material for a remodel job so it wasn’t my money to begin with. Chase placed the money in my account the following day so I went on with business as usual. Wed morning I received an alert that the check was now on hold and they removed the funds from my account. After I spent some of it. Leaving me with a negative balance. Leaving my business on hold and subjecting me to bank penalties. There is no problem with the funds BEING AVAILABLE to them, They’ve never done this, and I have been a perfect customer for many years. I am now not only waiting for chase to allow me access to my liquid to run my business, I am stranded in phoenix and unable to show up to build. I need this money to pay my child support, now I’m late so there goes my great credit score. MY BUSINESS CANNOT SURVIVE THIS. Theres no logical reason for them to downgrade me, I think its retaliation for filing a complaint against chase for stealing a 560$ money order that was my child support payment. Now they say it will be Sep1 2021 before I see a dime. needless to say, I have a hundred apologies to make now and my business is dead in the water.

I am not going to do business with them anymore. They need to give me my money and close my account and I want to sue them. This has cost me untold hardships. I want compensation for financially crippling me.

What Chase Bank did:
I put in a claims for $250. I bought a debit card for $50 and Digital coin for $200 February 2021, and didn’t receive the service I purchased. I called Chase to put a claim in, they accepted the claim & gave me a temporary credit. However after a week of putting in the claim, they reversed the claim saying it was over the time frame of which I should’ve reported.

This is not right because I should’ve. Even told this before They accepted my dates. The representative was aware of the dates and failed to tell me (the customer) that it has been passed the time frame. Now my account is now negative for the amount I put the claim in for.

My entire family contracted COVID-19. Chase wouldn’t refund monies for trip I didn’t take. The total amount of trip was $3200. Chase has my account overdrawn for the entire amount. Being that account is overdrawn it will report to credit report.
