What Norwegian Cruise Line did:
We were supposed to go on a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines to Alaska, from Seattle. We were not sure if we needed our passports, and we called Norwegian more than 24 hours before our cruise was to leave the port. When we called, we were told that we wouldn’t need the passports because we were not going out of the country. A customer service rep from the ***-***-**** number told us this, as well as our cruise consultant (we have that in writing). However when we turned up at the docks the next day with government ID, but without the passports, we were told that we could not board the cruise, in spite of the fact that we were given the wrong information by 2 of their employees.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
We want a refund.
