What Charter Spectrum did:
Received mailed ad from spectrum that indicated $44.99 TV+Internet. Called them up and indicated that is each. Then go more into deal and they indicate need cable box for $8.95 a month. Told them I have smart tv’s with spectrum app, they indicate still need box to take advantage of deal. I told them there is nothing in the ad that indicates box required. I decline the box and she they have to charge for it to receive PPV and movie rentals. Told her I dont want those items and she said still have to charge. Told her again so price is really not $44.99 if they are making cable box mandatory even if customer does not want it and going to be charged additional $8.95 amonth
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
no longer use deceptive ad to lure customers in only to be charged more money for equipment they dont want or need.
