AT&T Claim for Compensation

What AT&T did:
They are charging me double which is over 10,000 dollars. My original balance was 5,339 now there is two different debt collections on my credit of the same amount TWICE. Which is illegal for them to charge me twice for the same collection.

Hello yes when I got my phone one of the AT&T employees tould me I would be paying $110 for my phone bill and that’s a lie I have been paying $168 if not more for my service with them and I don’t think that’s right bc I can’t pay that much

What AT&T did:
They turned my service off. There was a dispute on my bill that I had been dealing with them on for 7 months. Up until 11-20-21 they also thought it was their mistake, then the person I talked to that day dug into it further and realized that on the bill I was seeing it said the charges were for non returned items, which they were admitting that the phones had been returned. But in the computer she said the charges showed that they were for contract fulfillment fees. So I said ok now that I know that, I will get it paid, but I can’t pay it until December 4th. Then she said, I have found another mistake we made and we are going to owe you approximately $240.00 and you will see it on your bill in 1 to 2 billing cycles. I said ok, I still need to extend my payment til the 4th but the computer isn’t letting me extend it past 11-22-21. She tried to extend it but said she needed to see if her supervisor could, then she came back and said her supervisor said to wait until Monday (11-22) to see if making the adjustment would go through on the computer. She said she would set herself an alarm to do it and if there was a problem she would call me. She never called, so I assumed all was good. Then on 11-24 they suspended my service. If it weren’t for the amount that I was disputing I was up to date on my account! I have never been suspended in the past and I have been with them for at least 10 years on this account. I talked to people up the management tree until the last person told me they were the highest, to which I said there is always someone higher, then they said the higher person was on vacation. At this point I can’t get my service back on until I pay $331.00. I just paid $361.00 on 11-11. They say their computers won’t let them turn my service on until then. I can’t believe there isn’t a human who can override the computer. I am 62 years old on social security. I have depression and anxiety and this caused me to have a bad episode. Also they turned me off the day before Thanksgiving so I didn’t even get to hear from any family on Thanksgiving. I should really talk to someone to fully explain this.

Turn my phone back on.

What AT&T did:
I traded in my phones in December of 2020 with AT&T. They never gave me the $700 credit per phone that I was promised. I paid over $600 in installment payments up until October of 2021. They credited my account only $1200. However they owe me $1400 + the $600 I paid in installment fees. When I called AT&T the supervisors were unwilling to help me and they said they gave me the “maximum” amount of credits that they were able to. I want to the cost of my phones cancelled out and my money refunded me because of all the mess I’ve gone through this year with AT&T.

What AT&T did:
My bill is too high and they said my company discount was no good to use to lower my bill. I only make 20k a year and am a single parent. My bill is over 130 a month on my phone! I work at home depot and i feel like im being descrimated against because they denied my discount!

I want them to make my bill affordable!
