What T-Mobile did:
I was sprint customer, after merger with t-mobile, had horrible service/reception, several trips to store for fix, kept replacing SIM card, no help. Then screen cracked on flex leased phone. Had insurance and it was Paid. another trip t-mobile store and told t mobile did not offer that insurance, that was sprint and they were not going to cover it. Wanted me to pay an outrageous amount to switch to t-Mobile pay that phone off at a massively higher price than deductible would have been and buy one of there phones. At that time it was about 225 to pay phone outright. That day I switched carriers and ported number. Have made several in person attempts and calls over last two months to return the equipment but they refuse to take it back. Got a e-mail saying I have to pay $400 now for the phone and going to collections! Charged me for insurance they would not honor, refuse to take equipment back as contract with sprit stated, and now the balance has doubled as well! Threatening collections unless pay. I feel as tho I am being extorted!
