What U.S. Bank did:
David ***** is a private wealth advisor at the Telluride branch of U.S. Bank. He convinced me to take out a $175,000 HELOC and that once the funds were exhausted I could refinance. Today, on a recorded line, Mr. ***** told me that he would not even ALLOW me to apply for the refinancing of my HELOC and that U.S. Bank no longer wanted me as a client (although, they continue to accept my $560 monthly interest payment… they simply won’t allow me to refinance it, as they had promised I’d be able to do when they sold me the HELOC in the first place). This is highly unprofessional, unethical, and likely unlawful behavior.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
I would like a formal apology and to refinance my HELOC, just as they promised I’d be able to do when they sold me on using U.S. Bank for my HELOC needs.
