AT&T Claim for Compensation

AT&T Claim for Compensation

What AT&T did:
On Nov.29th at 12:55pm a AT&T representative don’t remember her name unfortunately gave a promotion. The promotion was to get a deal on the iPhone 13 pro max and we trade in are original phones for the 13 pro max. On 12/2/21 at 9:55 pm I called to activate the new device and the representative said the phones cannot be activated because we have to finish paying for our current devices. It is unfair because one representative said we can trade are devices in and are bills will be lower and another representative is saying we are not eligible. Why sell us a product and also lie saying we can trade are devices in but in reality we can’t. I feel like I honestly got robbed and tricked into another payment.

For starters while doing the application and contract we were told that our bill would be 180.00 the first month then 125.00 after that. Our first bill was 300.00 and this new bill is 257.00 (for only 2-lines) Every time a new price is set they NEVER follow through. Today they agreed that I could pay 123.00 then they told me that the deal I made was not possible. They throw so many taxes on top of the bill that I cannot afford it and now they will ruin our credit. Plz help Darla R ***** // Petrore Boyd

An AT&T Agent operating out of Sam’s Club in Battle Creek, MI offered the following

. Monthly rate less than TMO for 5 lines
– First 3 AT&T bills were 2-3x higher
– AT&T refuses to honor their agents quote
– $4000 in damages, bait & switch, fraud
– Sam store mgr “agent negative reviews”

As part of additional damages AT&T is charging for early contract termination fees of $2500. If AT&T maintained the personal business commitment of their agents hustling Sam’s Club Members, then I would not be forced to return to T-Mobile.

I am a 78 year old service disabled veteran and me and my wife operate off a tight budget. We can nobly recover from this AT&T and Sam’s Club supported SCAM.

What AT&T did:
Im June 06,2020 I traded in my apple phone XSMax 256gb to upgrade to a newer version, IPhone 11 256gb. They were supposed to credit my account within 2-3 months and til this day they don’t know where my phone is. I have contacted them several times and according to their notes, I was charged an upgrade but not a trade in, yet the manager still took my phone. They say they tried to locate my phone thru imei and it is no where to be found. There has been other complaints against this person which makes me wonder why she’s no longer a manager/ employee with AT&T. Also, they are supposed to tell you what your trade in value is and she told me that I will find out on the bill. My phone was in immaculate condition. I don’t walk out the store with a screen protector or case and never take it off. So basically this lady pocketed my phone for her self.

Another phone or credit towards the phone

What AT&T did:
I signed a contract to switch to AT&T from Sprint on 4/27/2021 and purchased five cell phones. I changed my mind and they said just ship the cell phones back by the return label they helped me to print. They sent me one package with two iPhones and three packages with the other three and asked me to send them back in the same way. I did so on 5/1/2021. Never used any services with them and continued with Sprint. They started to bill me for monthly services that I never used. I kept calling them and they said they fix it that they never did!

In August eventually, they acknowledged that they received the phones after I called them tens of times with my USPS tracking numbers and refunded the credit card but keep sending me for monthly service. In November I noticed a drop in my credit score and that they claimed $875 on my account. I called the collection agency they said it includes cell phone services and one cell phone fee. I called AT&T and they are clueless, confused, and disjointed. I provided the same tracking numbers I did in August and they say they can’t find one of the iPhones that were in the package of two. I am frustrated.

I am a physician and spent hours on phone with their customer service instead of practicing for the past seven months! I wanted to get a house mortgage but they damaged my credit score which cost me huge so I paused the plan pending their action.

I purchased an ATT hot spot device with them with the monthly bill around $120-$150 a month for 40GB. I thought 40GB would be plenty for our 5th wheel camper that we live in part time. We used it for streaming and work on the lap top and the device worked great. Until i received a $3,000+ bill from them claiming massive data overages. $10 every 2GB that I never authorized. I figured when the 40GB runs out the device would no longer work until the next month. They are not willing to work with me in the slightest bit telling me my only option is making a payment arrangement with collections. Collections meaning it’s going to destroy my credit just for using their device. They apparently sent me emails saying I went over my data but none of the emails were requesting my approval to continue going over. I never saw these emails as I never thought I was going over data because I never received any mail or phone calls or text messages regarding my account. Just emails and I believe they only have email knowing they’re less likely to be seen. This bill going to collections is going to ruin my credit and I have absolutely zero room to spend $3,374.66 on Wi-Fi. Please help I have a family 2 kids and bills to pay and I cannot afford to have my credit ruined. AT&T is extremely deceptive and they have entrapped me and are shaking me down for an absurd amount of money for WiFi. I switched to Verizon Hot spot as they have an almost unlimited plan with no overage charges at all.

Att still, until today, after 2 years cannot get this fraud off my account and has been overcharging me years! I’ve paid at least 50 a month for services I don’t receive for over 2 years! It’s harmed me tremendously and they harmed many I am sure.

Att assigns email accounts that opens people up to major risk of identity theft and I Happen to be one of the worst cases.

Yes. I am also interested in suing this company for their wrongful business practices. I will provide all the proof needed. I can show proof of how this company has violatated TCPA LAWS AND PRIVACY LAWS. This is also related to ALL ATT CUSTOMERS BOT ONLY MYSELF. I believe I might need to talk to someone since this will be a class action lawsuit. This is not a small claim. Please have someone call me, I want to file a class action lawsuit asap.

I am stuck paying on a iPhone 12 Pro max and a iPhone watch after telling them I wasn’t a CNA for 3 months. My phone keeps being disconnected for non payment of bill when I pay almost 400 a month and they keep saying I owe more money after I have paid thousands of dollars. They have been basically ripping me off and I’m tired. I have assurion insurance which is through AT&T and have been paying on my iPhone 12 Pro Max which was stolen and they won’t send me another phone. This has been going on for almost 7 months now.

I want them to return me a new iPhone 12 Pro Max and pay me for my phone being disconnected every month and being such an inconvenience for myself and my job.
