What Progressive did:
Progressive was supposed to leave my policy open until January 7th so I could pay them once I received my paycheck. They closed my policy on January 6th even though they said they wouldn’t. I paid $440.00 and then was told my policy was closed. I called in and spoke with a representative to have my account policy opened and they told me I had to pay another $450 to reinstate my policy. I asked if I could be worked with and they told me no. They also told me I had a delinquent balance of $70 from back in June (which was not stated when I added a new car to my policy.) I am very disappointed in the customer service I received and that they were not willing to make arrangements and tried to charge me over 900 to reinsate a policy.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
I would like a refund on the $440 I paid just to be told I had to pay another $450 to reopen the policy
