DirecTV Claim for Compensation
What DirecTV did:
I called in to Directv inquiring about services. We couldn’t agree on what plan would work for me and I ended up not agreeing to any service plan. The lady on the other end of the phone decided I had agreed and signed me up without my consent. I was charged an activation fee and my account information was used to setup autopay all without my consent. When she read the disclaimer to run my card I told her not to, but she decided that she could. I have an entire word document describing the events of the last 10 days, to include employee names and numbers.
I want policy change. I want them to understand they can’t strong arm their customers and do whatever they want.
