What Rcn did:
RCN got me to purchase their service by telling me that 1 GB of internet would be $50/month with the first month free. I never saw that free month come to fruition; in fact, I paid $100 the first month, $200 the second month, and back to $100 the third. I tried to get into contact with my RCN agent that I had talked to, but he was almost impossible to track down and get a response from, and when I did, it almost felt like the questions he was asking me were stalling questions. Also, for the first two months, it was incredible difficult to actually find a break-down of my receipts. Just awful customer service and free reign to raise prices for any reason, and they really don’t have to tell you about it.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
A refund would be amazing. I understand that in the first month of installation, there may be extra fees, etc. but the fees didn’t seem to stop. Again, I signed up for a $45 or $50/month plan, and yet I have paid at least double that every month I have had their internet.
