What Marriott did:
I booked a hotel in Miami, Fl 4 points Sheraton hotel by Marriott on 1/25/2022. I had an issue with the manager named Amanda I was called a nigger in Spanish suciea ***** I speak Spanish as well. This all started because the room I was given was dirty, and not in good condition I asked to be moved. She was upset because I asked for a better room she held it against me. I was having an issue with a chip reader on my card while changing rooms, and trying to extend. She then told me she was not going to further assist me and I could check out because I have too many issues. I asked for her managers number she refused and then she came back and wrote it on a sticky note, after she realized this incident would be escalated. The manager came around the corner as we were trying to resolve the issue he was trying to persuade me to stay go to the atm to get cash since my chip was not reading. While we were talking 3 miami dade police officers pulled up with their lights on, got out entered the hotel lobby. I felt threatened racially profiled, and disrespected all because I payed my money, and wanted a good room I was treated as if I didn’t have a voice or the right to want a better room than what they gave me. This all occurred in front of my 2 year old son and fiance. This caused emotional distress, ptsd, undue stress , public humiliation, I would like to make sure Marriott is aware of this issue and are ready to address this in the correct manner.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?

I would like a full refund, and compensation for being racially profiled.
