What DoorDash did:
Door Dash Drivers cheat their times. A driver tells the app they are running late. The customer waiting for their food will receive numerous time changes. The driver will post 1 last time telling the customer they will be arriving in 10 min. The driver is actually closer to your location. They will drop off the food in some random spot and report that they arrived drove around and had trouble finding the place. The customer only sees the driver is still in route and hasn’t arrived yet. Then the customer receives a notice of your food has arrived and the driver had trouble finding your location. Drivers will deliberately post an image that makes it hard to tell where they dropped your food off. Drivers will leave your food at some random location and take off with tip. Door Dash does not refund your full amount when your order does not arrive. Door keeps anywhere between $10 to $15 from your total order. So guaranteed if your food does not arrive through Doordash you will lose at least $10.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
Doordash needs to not auto tip their drivers. Tips should be submitted only when the driver confirms the food was delivered to the correct location. Doordash should give Full refund if food was not delivered. making $10 to $15 of every head of customers that are guaranteed not to get their food; is poor customer service.
