What The Lodge Bait and Tackle did:
I purchased a fishing rod and it was taking a while for them to ship it to me. So I reached out via email and they responded by telling me that they didn’t have it in stock and they were waiting on it from their supplier. They offered me a refund for the inconvenience. I accepted and let them know I would like a refund. The company happily agreed and let me know that they had just issued the refund. After a few days it had not shown up in my bank, so I decided to reach out to them and ask. They told me it could take up to 7-10 days for the refund to show up in my bank. After 10 business days past, still nothing. I sent out another email and no response. After 5 more business days, I sent another email to ask if they got my previous email and asked if they were able to resubmit the refund. I never got a response to that email either. So now they’re just ghosting me hoping they don’t have to refund me.
