What Charter Spectrum did:
Charter spectrum representative toted no contract mobile service plan so that anytime we wanted to cancel we wouldn’t be charged, however we got charged for the month of service even after cancellation. The point of the no contract agreement was that we wouldn’t get charged, but in their fine print user agreement, they snag in a line about how cancelations actually work and that any cancellation made during the billing cycle is still subject to payment for that cycle. Why promote a no contract, if the only person who gets screwed over is the user themself? So misleading about what no contract actually meant. The representative made it seem that we could just walk away from the service if we were unsatisfied (which we were, awful service) yet we still got a charge.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
