What Citibank did:
Citibank has put an indefinite hold on all of my money with no explanation or timeline to resolution. I have spoken to over 35 customer service representatives, spent over 15 hours on the phone in addition to my time in the branch with you, and have been hung up on about 25 times with no explanation by the customer service reps after reading a script and ignoring my interjections.
I have had ZERO access to my money for 2 weeks now, I am unable to pay my bills and I am being offered now explanation as to why I am not allowed to access my funds. I have been told “allow 24-48 hours” now over 15 days… online this seems to be a very common occurrence for new Citibank customers with many stating their money is held hostage for 3 months to as long as 18 months with no explanation… this is theft! Get this fixed immediately!!
