What Vivint did:
I began using Vivint in or around May 2021. They ran my credit and opened an account with Fortiva. They set up the system and began charging an amount for the system with Fortiva and I receive a separate charge for Vivint’s services.
The problem happened when I ordered a door lock from Vivint and I didn’t need it. They were supposed to send me a return label and I never received it. Also on May 2, 2022 my account was fraudulently changed to automatic pay without my permission, and my card was fraudulently charged $186.81. I never gave them permission to charge my card. I tried to remove my card from automatic and their system would not allow me to remove my card, nor would it allow me to remove automatic pay. I had to replace it with a card that was no longer in service and then remove my card.
The weirdest thing is that I have never paid a bill with the card recently that they fraudulently charged.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
