Vivint Complaint

What Vivint did:
Sold Takeover package ($1799) and apparently $1800 worth of additional equipment late summer 2021- very poor installation job done- missed cancellation within 3-day window. Contacted them for last 8 months. Discovered sensors not working while alarm activated – late one night while wife and son were in their showers – no alarm – walked right into home – multiple times after this event and panel still showed active – no alert whatsoever- Vivint finally sends tech – June 2022- brings additional sensors. No emails or bill notification of costs to be withdrawn- five days later $310 deducted from account – June visit confirms prior sensors and install wasn’t ‘up to par/code’. Total costs of equipment, new sensors to date $4900. Spoke with several reps over last week again for costs breakdown and complaint only to confirm we paid $1799 for a SmartHub and doorbell camera and all previous equipment should have tied in to their system. No ownership, genuine concern for lack of security, safety, and peace of mind for my family. The overpayment or determination to refund recent non-authorized charges has only been more of an insult. The poorest experience we have truly ever had in our entire lives.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
