Airbnb Claim for Compensation

What Airbnb did:
AirBnb cancelled my host’s account on April 1st and then never cancelled my reservation which began 4 weeks later on April 28th. When April 28th came, I suddenly learned that I had no place to stay and the only available alternative cost $1600 more than my original reservation. Airbnb offered to credit my account $1312 to make up for the difference and told me to book the new property immediately. I booked the property as instructed but my account was not credited, Airbnb simply added a coupon to my account with no way to apply this payment to the reservation. I am seeking $1312 from Airbnb to make up for this diference.
