What Airbnb did:
On Jan 31, 2022 I paid $1706.78 for a bad Airbnb in {{ address hidden }} Carmen Mexico, it was to be for the month of Feb 3 to March 3, 2022. We complained shortly after moving in without satisfactory resolution on the hosts behalf. We were told that our issues would be taken care of but they lied, and then told us to move out immediately after we complained to Airbnb on March 8.

I filed for a full refund, not including our extra costs involved in moving unexpectedly and paying for other transportation and accomodation, also through Airbnb as well.

I only received a partial refund of $1149, even though Airbnb allows a claim to go through for a divided predetermined amount from the amount of days you used. There was no response from them explaining why only 1149 was refunded after 5 days there and paying for a full month – Airbnb app said I was eligible for 1400 approximately.

Also what I paid included in the fee a breakfast service that was not available as advertised amongst the many other inconsistencies with the advertisement on Airbnb. This is why we feel that I deserve a full refund that I did not receive.
