Airbnb Claim for Compensation

What Airbnb did:
Our pet friendly fenced backyard we booked had a hole in the fence big enough for our dogs that the host knew about to escape. The holes had boards with huge nails sticking out that could have very badly injured our dogs or killed them. Not to mention our dogs became flea infested from the backyard. We noticed the fleas outback day 1(we ignored thinking we got them back inside soon enough). Day 2 we noticed our dogs did in fact have fleas on them. We contacted Airbnb that evening as soon as we saw them to get a refund and new Airbnb. They said theyd call back in 20 minutes and didn’t call back again. Day 3 we just leave that morning and call halfway through the day to finally get someone on customer service to try to help us. She made us think she was giving us a full refund for the issue. Hung up and later gave me email showing they only refunded the last 2 days we didn’t stay there. They charged us for days 1-3 where our dogs got fleas!!!
