What AT&T did:
They offer predatory billing. I went to upgrade my phone, and they added two lines without my consent and doubled my bill. They also throttle internet when I rely on my personal phone for work. I upgraded my phone on 5/11/22 and they have since doubled my bill. The salesperson has advised that there was nothing I could do. I called and got constant runaround. I am terrified it will affect my credit since I cannot afford over $400 a month.
