CenturyLink Claim for Compensation

CenturyLink Claim for Compensation

What CenturyLink did:
On 3/12/2022 our landline went out. Dial tone only returned 3/16/2022, but we were not able to receive calls. I spent several hours trying to work through CenturyLink’s terrible customer service, only to be hung up on, or discontinued web “chats” and texts. On 3/22/2022 we were told to remain home and that a service person would be coming out. Close to 6 (PT) nobody had come so I tried going through their system again. After long wait, I finally was able to get a human. She said there was an “outage” and they did not know when it would be fixed. I told her that we had a service ticket and that someone was to come out, but it never happened. I asked why they couldn’t text or e-mail us that they would not be out. I told her that we had missed medical and other communications. I would like to ensure that we are not being billed for the down time at both our houses, 72514 and 72515 London Rd., Cottage Grove, OR 97424 from 3/12/2022 through 3/22/2022. I would also like a token reimbursement of $100 applied to our bill for the wasted time trying to work a very broken customer service department. I have previously submitted an informal complaint earlier in the month through the Better Business Bureau to which CenturyLink has not responded
