DirecTV Claim for Compensation

What DirecTV did:
I ended service with them April 2021. They continued to send me monthly Bill’s although I returned the equipment. When I called them they informed me that I have to pay 495 dollars to get out of s contract that I was unaware of, when I called I just ordered service but did not know that I was in a contract like that. I am a stroke patient and I only get disability each month. 500 dollars is half of my benefit amount.
