Hotels.com Claim for Compensation

What Hotels.com did:
I made a hotel reservation in November 2019 for May 2020 and that reservation was cancelled by the HOTEL during covid. I received a voucher only applicable to said hotel. I made a reservation to that hotel for September 2022. Said hotel permanently closed early 2022 and was bought by new hotel brand. I canceled my reservation due to this change and now my voucher/credit is gone. I keep requesting a call by a supervisor and no one responds. I am out $1,200. I have emails saved for my original reservation and the voucher credits. The vouchers I longer work and I can’t get through to anyone. Everyone is overseas and speaks poor English. When I call no one understands and I wait an hour only to be told a supervisor will call. No one ever calls. This is fraud.
