Verizon Wireless Claim for Compensation

What Verizon Wireless did:
I switched to Verizon in September 2021 with a promo to trade in my old iPhone 12. I was sent a Verizon package to put my phone in and sent it out. The phone was received by the warehouse according to the tracking, but the warehouse must of lost it because it was never processed past that point, which is not my problem. After a dozen phone calls spanning the course of 6 months, I got nowhere. Even with a tracking that shows the package was accepted by their warehouse, they wouldn’t help me. They kept claiming they will make it right and never did. After 9 months of service, I switched service to T-Mobile because I was fed up with them, and they now are making me pay my full device balance which should have been free at this point with the promo from my old phone that they lost, AND they are adding another $500 promo rebate that I need to pay back. I would like to get $1300++.
