What Airbnb did:
I paid AirBnB $9796 for 18 day stay–$417/night. The photos and ad were deceiving and fraudulent. The place smelled of smoke from a broken chimney flue. Nothing worked. Bathroom floor badly leaked when we showered. Forced to leave after 4 days.

Promised 3 bedroom 1 bath home in {{ address hidden }}– from Aug 18 to Sept.6. 2022. AirBnB denied my claim.

What Airbnb did:
I ordered my long stay starting August 1st to November 12th. It was accepted and I was charged on my credit card for the first month. Yesterday, August 22nd my host sent me a message on AirBnb saying that she will move out, and I have until August 31st to book another room for me. Today, I tried to reach airbnb support to that. They proceeded with a 30 days coupon and refund (which can take 15 business days to be proceeded). Now, the host canceled my reservation and I’m homeless. I went from a long stay to homeless in one single day. I have no credit on my card (the refund takes 15 days to be proceeded), small amount of cash and, right now, I don’t know what to do.

A stay as I ordered and was confirmed. From now to November 12th

What Airbnb did:
I rented at a different location with AirBnB from June 23 – June 30, 2022. I have rented from this owner before from both of her locations. I have been trying to find a location in {{ address hidden }} area to be near my disabled aging senior mother. The rents are really high, wanting 3 -2.5 of you monthly wages plus a lease. There is a housing crisis, long waiting lists at regular housing, even at the senior housing. (I’m 59 years old.)
Well, the owner Robin said, “Back again?” I said, “Yes, I am looking for an apt for $1k/mo.” That is what I qualify for. I knew that her and her son were in real estate & asked her if she knew of any apts for $1k? She said, “I can stay at her place where she lives for $1k/mo.” All I had to do was pay the difference that I paid ($426.46) at the other AirBnB location and pay the difference through Venmo, ($573.54) which includes a $10.99 Merchant Protection Plan that I paid for also.
She kept changing the dates from the 19th, to the 17th when it was supposed be on the July 23, 2022 (30 days from June 23, 2022-July 23, 2022). I paid her in full for a whole 30 day stay and it was supposed be for a long term stay, like a private party landlord/tenant situation. She wanted to change all that, “Renege,” on our written and verbal agreement. Going from $33.333 a day to $44.00 a day. It just got so ridiculous. She even broke other agreements about where I could part my truck, telling me to park off the street while she allowed other people, even to this day to park in the back on her grass. So, I lost that, which was an agreed upon service. When I had stayed there before at this particular house my truck which was on the street, it was vandalized, that is why I wanted to park in the back.
I needed long term housing to be near my aging mother. She caused me to lose money, time, everything, having to contend with her and her crazy shenanigans causing crisis instead of dealing with my mother and the other things, like housing I was having to attend to. She messed up everything I was doing. Just a total, scumbag, mess, waste of time and ruined everything I was working on when I could have been somewhere else where they would have been honest and would not have thrown me off track. I could have been homeless and lost my other apartment because of her destructive, deceptive business practices, switch and bait schemes, reneging on our prior agreed upon agreements, plus she went outside AirBnB Contract and wants to be protected and covered by them when she made it a private party transaction which in my opinion is fraud trying to go back under AirBnB where I didn’t stay at all, breaking contract law agreement that she has with AirBnB.

To have her reported to the Housing Authorities and lose here Hosting Privileges with AirbBnB because she is still conducting the same deceptive business practices outside AirBnB, “Switch and Bait,” having people go outside of their tacit agreement, breaking their contractual agreement with AirBnB. I have a screen shot of this transaction with another AirBnB Consumer she had them go outside the AirBnB Platform and pay her private party on Venmo again.
She was also slandering me to other AirBnB Hosts when I did not stay where I paid for the AirBnB Location. Saying she, “Warned Everyone In Vernal, Utah,” where I still live and it follows me where ever I go throughout the AirBnB Industry because of her false accusations.

I have all the documents to support all of this.
