What Airbnb did:
I rented a place from Airbnb. Paid by fees and they collected.
Once an issue arises even though they offer guarantee or money back, resolving resolutions, they instead went for the host as they have 11 premier properties listed and gaining money from them. Property was dirty, infested with spiders “brown recluse” throughout and was bit 3rd day there on the neck while asleep at night in bed. I had to be admitted to urgent care as my face went numb and I was sick. Then I went home 3 days later high fevers went back to find out I had Covid. I later learned the home owner had just had Covid and they do the cleaning not allowing time between vacationers or any laps between cleaning time. I was admitted to the hospital as my heart rate was 133 and fever 104. Oxygen was at 73. All due to the negligence of the host that collected. House has so much deferred Maintence. I submitted to owners immediately per Airbnb requirements and all they could say was sorry and nothing else even to make sure I was ok. My service dog had 13 brown recluse bites and suffered 2 ulcerated wounds still healing. I was so sick and still positive the owners called the police to have me removed from the house hostile way. I incurred a lot of damages. I was in Springfield for brain tumor and cancer treatment for a trial program I had to leave. I had no where to go with Covid and drove back sick 2 days straight back to AZ to my home. I am seeking damages, losses and trebled damages for suffering and pain. Due on stress. Airbnb did nothing but play favoritism.
