Airbnb Claim for Compensation
What Airbnb did:
I have a contract with a Host name May and she has entered inside my listing multiple times and now has locked me out. Airbnb has done nothing to fix this issue and I have called and messaged multiple times . I was supposed to be in this listing for a full month and I have been locked out of my listing and can’t enter back in. Airbnb refuses to call the lady and help us with getting back in. And they keep pushing me off and claiming they will call later. Airbnb had allowed this lady to scam us by asking us for extra money via cash instead of the Airbnb platform and Airbnb knows she asked for outside money. I haven’t Agreed to terminate my stay and nothing has been rearranged. I have been scammed out of my money for a place to stay in which I haven’t been able to stay at since I was locked out. Airbnb still knowing all of this hasn’t done anything to take care of the situation.
Airbnb allowing invasion of privacy and putting me at risk for safety issues and clearly protecting hosts over guests. And allowing a contract to be breached without refund and consequence to and from
Host.
