Delonghi Product Wasn’t What I Was Promised

What Delonghi did:
My $950 espresso machine broke while under warranty (has 2 more years of protection) on 8/22/22. We called Delonghi support and received a box to mail our unit in. This was completed on 8/27/22 with an estimated 2 days repair time.

It’s 9/29/22 and I have not heard a single word about our unit. After 6 unresponded emails and three phone calls all giving me a different reason for delay I believe they are in breach of their warranty and possibly theft of my unit.

Again, no responses or calls or updates what so ever after having my $900 unit for more than a month. I’ve very concerned and would like to see criminal and punitive damages recovered.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?

New equipment, punative damages of $250K for warranty breach and my personal time and hassle. Plus $5 per day in incurred coffee expenses for everyday beyond the 8/29 return date they told me about.
