What Bank of America did:
They did not properly investigate theft and sided with a scam. They failed to call any number or verify that no service was provided. Worse, they used the evidence from the fraudulent company “they offered a receipt of your debit card charge therefore your complaint is invalid. ” Because they charged my card the money, the bank is claiming they did not charge it illegally. Ridiculous junior high education of the departments involved per speaking on the phone.
