What Charter Spectrum did:
In July 2021 I purchased a mobile phone which I was unable to implement because my husband became seriously ill and so did I subsequently. He passed away. I am finally able to get my Android a12 hooked up for a unlimited text talk and data. However I have been told that my phone is no longer able to be connected and that I have to purchase a new a13 Android in order to start my mobile service. So now I have paid in excess of $350 for a phone which I was never able to use and now have to purchase a new phone. It will cost me $10 a month for the next 24 months in addition to my mobile service. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income barely able to hang on, and like the true monopoly that you are, you have basically stolen this money from me. My next step is to contact Congressman Brian *****, to lodge a formal complaint and make it my purpose in life to advise other senior citizens of what has happened to me. I am 77 years old, no one ever told me my phone would be come “extinct after a little more than a year. So incredibly unethical. Please respond within 7 days to this text. I am one little old lady but i am not going to let this go. You just cost me one month’s groceries and since I live on a fixed income, this is difficult for me to accept.
