What Santander Consumer USA did:
I’ve paid off the vehicle. They claim that I still owe over $10k. I’ve sent several complaints to the Attorney General Office of VA and DC, where they have reached out to Santander Consumer for answers and Santander has not replied to them since Aug 2022. I have also submitted investigations through the BBB and CFPB (since March)- No resolution. I have requested for an itemized, detailed record of how I still owe over $10k and where this amount is coming from. They refuse to answer this question directly or supply information. I need guidance on next steps for removal of this tradeline from my credit report and removal of this balance I do not owe.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
