What Airbnb did:
Airbnb has refused to help compensate us for a poor stay. We contacted them from the moment we arrived and left our stay bc of the issues of the stay. Despite having no hot water to shower along with many other issues they refused to help. After trying to negotiate with the host who was a bully and refused to refund us UNLESS we agreed to not provide a review for their home they still refused to help us. We agreed to the refund terms set by the host so that we could get some level of compensation back but Airbnb refused to help us even though I wanted them to be aware that the host treated people the way they did and threatened to withhold our money if we reviewed the stay. Other guests should not have to deal with this type of behavior from a host yet Airbnb does not care about the safety of its customers. The date of this complaint is 10/28/22 and 10/29/22.
