What Metro by T-Mobile did:
I ma just in shock of how pathetic and how much the people that work at the Metro PCs I went into on September 22nd 2022. I was immediately greeted with “what do you need?” By one of the sales rep. I told them what I was interested in and that I would be switching from another carrier to get the free device promo. They tried 2 different devices that were promoted as free when you switch. They tried to charge me $75 for the first device not including first month of service or activation. The second one they went down to $30 for just the device, that was also under the switch over free device promo. The woman that helped me asked for my ID than when putting my info in my account didn’t even put the correct name or info. She also created a pin for my account and didn’t even tell me the pin or ask me what I wanted it to be. So, I walked out of ther with a device that I didn’t even have any desire for but also paid
for a phone that should have been free with this promotion. I was treated very poorly and my account was set up with a different name and a pin I wasn’t even able to set up and later couldnt even log in to my account. On top of all this they said there receipt printer was out and if I needed to return I could use the text stating that Metro is happy to have me as a customer to make a return. I have been to the store at 6:30pm two night in a row now because it’s the oy time after work I have. Both times I sat there while they helped the customer before me until close and then tell me they can’t help me. Last night the sales rep even said she remembered me and told me she was very sorry for how bad my experience has been with Metro PCS and told me if I came back today she would make sure I was taken care of. She than told the sales rep that is there tonight that if it’s passed 7 kick me out and tell me to come back the 3rd day in a row. I am literally just trying to use the warranty to exchange a device that I shouldnt even had to of purchased or wasn’t even interested in. This store is beyond pathetic and they don’t care about their customers at all. I am also wondering if they pocketed the money that I ended up paying for the free device with promo because they also wouldn’t give me a receipt! I am so frustrated with this store and am tired of rushing after work, wasting the gas just to be turned away again and again. They need to be trained on Metro PCS policies for their customers because they will lose a lot of business with this store representing Metro PCS name.
