What Optimum did:
My service was disconnected(aug. 25 2022) due to non payment and when i called customer service the agent redirected me to another optimum associate who stated he was his supervisor. turned out to be a scam operation funneled by the employee who gave them my information. I payed the reconnect fee, that optimum never recieved, and my services were reconnected until the following month(sept. 26) and when i found out they never got the payment. Ive called mult. Times and customer service isnt helpful, in fact seem to know what happened and are protecting it and with no way to talk to anyone above the cust. Service level seems impossible. Being scammed is one thing, but being funneled into a scam by the very employees of the company expecting mutual trust is unbearable.
