Equifax Complaint
What Equifax did:
Equifax has violated my consumer rights pursuant to 15 U.S. Code § 1681b – Permissible purposes of consumer reports. I did not give them permission to report anything to my consumer report. I have sent several certified letters, make complaints to the state attorney general, BBB, and CFPB. Equifax keeps giving false statements saying that the accounts and inquiries has been verified, but they NEVER verified it with me and by law they have to.
