What Vivint did:
I called vivant ruffly 5 to 6 times in the past 5 months. There was a safety concern where my doorbell went offline and my fiance went to leave for work. There was a man standing in my front yard. The camera never went off. I called and did a chat and they refused to help. I was able to get the camera back online later that night. I have spoke to a supervisor and he was horribly rude. I did not know i was in a contract until 2 months ago(Oct2022). I called yesterday to cancel my service and the rep told me oh you cant cancel until 2025. Thats when i found out again, now its 4 to 5 year contract. I should have never went with then last August 2021.
