What CenturyLink did:
All of my personal information was stolen, CenturyLink was suppose to connect my internet Since January 5 2023 then it was sent a modem, then the date was pushed back to the 13th, then it was pushed back to the 20th, but I received another modem in which it didn’t work at all CenturyLink stated they would send someone out to check the wires the 21st of Jan I called oh we’re sorry there isn’t a pending repair for you. I’ve returned the first modem now I have to return the 2nd one. Now the worse part about the situation because my neighbor stole my information in which I’m pressing charges tomorrow, I changed email and phone number I called CenturyLink and spoke with some personally or so I thought. Make this story a little shorter the guy at CenturyLink or lumen whomever try are I updated my email and phone number I so
I did that with 4’different agents just to make sure they had the correct information, it cone to find out that I had given someone my information because the email came back after I spoke with him stating there’s no existing email. I still have the email. But nevertheless, I have no internet because the individual stole my identity and used my old phone number, I did some research and yes they have the modem setup with my old phone number different name. I mean I feel so betrayed first by my neighbor stealing my information but now I feel very very vulnerable that CenturyLink didn’t guard my privacy like they claim, and they should’ve given me a followup call Abt anything that was going on with my account because I explained the situation and ask them to call, but as I stated I feel as though I’ve been stripped naked.
