What Vivint did:
In November of 2021 I had to move out of my home because it was sold and the new owner had told us we only had 1 month to leave so we had no where to go I called Vivint explained the situation so they placed my account on hold for a year we were living with family members and couldn’t set up the security system so I left the house and the Vivint equipment in the house Vivint never instructed me to remove the equipment so I left it there for a whole year after I called Vivint to explain more about my situation and how I could not install the equipment in our new home they told me to go and ask the new owner if they would take the account over that immediately raised flags on my radar so I got upset and told them that they had to deal with them and they said came up with a solution they said if I retrieved the equipment they and return it to them they were going to cancel my account with no penalty fee and they were going to give me two months free meanwhile I got the equipment from the old house. I got the security system and called them back to let them know instead of reviewing the notes they said that they had to listen in on the call to make sure that what I was saying was right and to call them back in a few days I gave them a week and then I called Vivint again they said that they never said anything about me getting the equipment back or cancellation without penalty fees
