What DoorDash did:
Hello I spoke to two different people a couple days ago and called twice a couple days ago. I ordered $72 worth of food from Rigos Bistro mind you there is no number nor address for them on Google to be able to drive there or contact them. I ordered my food yesterday around 11 something in the morning. After I did that the time kept going further and further for when it’s supposed to arrive and also mind this is a place that does personal deliveries so they won’t have a dasher come to pick the food up they do it themselves. Eventually when the time got pushed back to almost 2:00pm it said that the order was completed. I went to the door and there was no food outside. I went out a 2nd time a few minutes later and there was no food. When I tried to fix it through DoorDash it said that my compensation request was declined. The first person I spoke to through the support chat line, said that their system isn’t allowing them to process a refund the second person said that they escalated it to their team then I got the email saying that they were unable to do a refund. The first time I actually called a lady answered the phone and long story short it was the same response. I called a second time and another lady answered and long story short said that she escalated it and within 24 hours they should respond and your refund should be processed. I’ve gotten no email and it seems like nobody can do anything about this. This isn’t fair and something needs to be done about this because I planned to sue the whole company of DoorDash I just don’t understand how this is OK when I never received the food worth of $72 and some change.
