What PayPal did:
I’ve been a PayPal customer for years and through these years it’s been a nightmare I’ve been trying to close my account they won’t close it I barely use .recently a family member sent me a payment for me to book and pay for a hotel for me and my kids because were homeless and we’ve been living in my car for the last 2 days I am disabled also partially blind I live in Florida Fort Lauderdale to be exact we are facing huge financial problems and also it’s flooded in every city shelters are full the help lines agents are giving out wrong numbers Etc so basically I’m really going through a sensitive rough frustrating time in my life which I have never been in this situation before so it is very important and urgent that I received These funds but PayPal blocked my account and then I got it unblocked 20 minutes later after I was on 2-hour hold it was blocked again I called back just to be on another hour hold and when finally reached the right department they put me on a 30 hold and then PayPal agent hung up on me because they were closing in 5 minutes okay and then I called back the next day I get another agent that is expressing to me the same thing that they tell me everyday which is my account is unblocked now try again try to transfer the funds to my bank account while they’re on the phone and of course it’s unsuccessful and now I’m blocked all over again because I tried too many too transactions because PayPal told me to my wallet was stolen I have no bank cards I’m waiting for the cards to be delivered to my PO box so until then I’m trying to unlock my virtual PayPal debit card so I can pay for the hotel room online and I’m told the robot won’t allow me to do that the robot would not allow me to activate my virtual PayPal card I have nowhere to live I have no family here and and the robot will not allow me to receive the emergency funds that I have to help my situation I explained it the situation to the PayPal associates and they I’ll respond with the same with the same response which is your account is unblocked everything is fine but the robot system has your account and your PayPal debit card lot so you can only receive payments you cannot transfer or ADD or withdraw call back tomorrow or wait for to 8 hours to try your transfer again I’ve done that for a whole week straight every day I call and it’s that day that I was told yesterday to try a call tomorrow so today is August 24th 2023 today’s the 5th day in the month of August that I’ve been calling on the day they say call back tomorrow so today is that call back tomorrow I got the same response
