What DoorDash did:
Tip skimming for sure. Stealing tips alltogether in some cases still going on. One customer last week left a 35 dollar tip and i saw 8.85 total so 3.85 from doordash and a fiver on the tip. It was a large catering order. When i callled doordash and confronted them and the customer did as well, they denied the tip was 35 several times and refused to do it. Then the customer must have spoke with them after delivery because suddenly it said tip adjusted. Doordash called me shortly after stating there must have been a technical error and thats not a rare occurance. Have been contract violeted twice for orders i never even acceptaed or delivered and had to argue with them for days to get back on the playform. They violated my contract for not delivering to a crime scene guns and @#$%&!….they randomly took money out of my dasher account it just vanished like 135 dollars they said it was a correction because they over paid me for an entire weeks time. Where is the proof of that i never even had and promos in my area too many drivers. Its a scam the whole thing and very unethical to the drivers. The timer on delivery by is unsafe and causes accidents and unsafe driving because if your late you get a contract violation. Is that enough? Can i sue them yet? Im their employee their is no way im not they dictact rules and regulations on me all day.
