What Comcast Xfinity did:
Xfinity customer service made an outbound call to me asking me to signup for a mobile phone service plan by activating a line. I told I am using a locked T mobile phone and that I am not eligible. The agent asked for my IMEI number and told me my device is compatible to use with their network even though it was locked to T Mobile and that I could use their service. My phone could not be activated with Xfinity because it was locked and Xfinity began billing me for 1 month saying I failed to cancel the activation request and that I had to pay them for using their service. I had not used their service rather was on T Mobile, yet they continue to say the charge is valid. I wish to dispute this bill and it possibly falls under a class action lawsuit where other consumers may have faced the same thing.
