What AT&T did:
I have been using AT&T small business for over 20 years. Sept 13 a technician from small business mobile department signed the company up for a service that was not at all what she described. She took my number from my business internet account and brought it to the mobile side. The order was cancelled the next day and attt received everything back. They were instructed to have my VOIP phone number put back on my Internet account. I had no way to receive my business calls.
I was on the phone with them from 7:30am to 10:30pn being transferred all over the place back and forth at 10pm the manger in mobile said I should go to the store and get my phone number on a SIM card so I did not miss any calls. That was a temporary fix while my phone was being ported back to my internet voip account.
I found out on 10/2 that they had to have a technician to come out to complete the transfer of my VoIP phone number back in my internet account. The temp fix suggested of having my phone on a sim temporarily lasted two days. I have been out of business receiving no phone calls since 9/14 it is now 10/4 We own a very well known roofing company. We have lost many jobs and have tarnished our reputation over this I’m certain.
Our business has now been shut down for over 3 weeks because of AT&T
