What Metro by T-Mobile did:
So long story short i broke my phone and i had to call a rep to activate my new phone to the account. In the call she told me that they was going to cover my activaton fee and that i had to pay nothing she even reassured me before ending the call. Now……my phone is off i call metro robot telling me i have to pay and it wont connect me to anybody without paying first. So i end up chating withthem just for them to tell me i have to pay the fee and ive exspressed to them what happened and how this is financially hurting me due to me having an important business call coming in and not being able to answer.
