What Vivint did:
When the sales representative came to my house he originally told me my system would be $2500 plus the monthly charge from vivint. It bumped up to $4000 and I was pressured, and should not have even been approved based on credit. I paid for a bunch of devices and one was never even installed. When I moved I needed my system uninstalled which took them a week to do since they didn’t call or text the first time they were supposed to come out even though a note was put in my account. After that I was assured by 2 customer service representative that I could pause my services and not be charged. I was charged for 2 months today and it took my account into the negatives. I spoke to someone over chat and they told me to call and speak with someone. The first person I spoke to told me I was responsible for the payments, I told him I had records of payments from the month before. I spoke to someone else and they told me they would honor what I was told but that deferred payments weren’t allowed for 6 months after services. He said I would have to call back in a week to get an update.
