What Choice Home Warranty did:
They send repairmen who never repair anything on the first visit. They have two claims with me unresolved now for six months and one year. They close your claim without resolving it if you dont or cant stay in touch with them over and over again getting no solution. They have sent 4 plumbers over six months and they keep making me wait weeks only to tell me they cant get parts that can be purchased on Amazon and Ebay. Then they stop coming and after many complaints to Choice, they send another plumber with a four hour window for someone to be there and don’t fix any again. I have a dishwasher that they offered less than 1/4 of what it will cost to replace and said they could not fix it until I sent them a picture of the motor. As I was out of the country, I finally took the bottom off and sent them several pictures over six weeks ago, and then get an email that they can only view the pics on their portal, but I’ve written five times there is no where on their portal to download pics. No response. They sent a plumber to fix my simple Insinkerator garbage disposal and they left stating they had to come back after Choice gave them permission to fix it. The Choice Portal now shows the matter resolved and the disposal fixed. THEY NEVER FIX ANYTHING ON THE FIRST VISIT. THEY ONLY MAKE YOU SET AN APPOINTMENT FOR SOMEONE TO CALL YOU TO SETTLE THINGS,SO IF YOUR OUT OF THE COUNTRY, YOUR OUT OF LUCK…AS STATED BY ONE OF THEIR REPS WHEN I CALLED FROM AUSTRALIA. EVEN WHEN YOU CALL THEM, THEY DON’T RESOLVE ANYTHING THEY DON’T WANT TO. MY TENANT IS NOW MOVING AND DEMANDING COMPENSATION FOR HER SHOWER NOT BEING FIXED FOR 6 MONTHS. THEY SENT A DRYER REPAIRMAN WHO OF COURSE, HAD TO COME BACK AFTER A WEEK AND MAKE ME PAY FOR SOMEONE TO BE THERE AGAIN AND HE LEFT A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF MY DRYER SIX BY ONE INCH LONG AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER WRONG SO THAT CLOTHES GET STUCK IN THE DRUM WHEN ITS SPINNING. I DIDNT CATCH IT IN TIME, BEING OUT OF TOWN AND IT HAS BROKEN THE DRYER AGAIN AND OF COURSE SINCE ITS BEEN OVER 30 DAYS, THEY WILL CHARGE ME TO FIX IT AGAIN. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!
