The company advertised the said property but it was not meant for airbnb purpose of use because of it’s location and underdevelop road. They deactivated my partner’s account without evidence and lied that there was evidence of property damage yet they admitted in a call that there was no proof. I was responsible for the damages due to an altercation and all damages were paid for and the issue was handled but they deactivated my partner’s account for my actions.We also paid the landlord separately and Airbnb also made us pay for damages so the landlord owes us a sum of 7500 Philippine Pesos.

They deactivated my account because of a felony in 2005 I was a supper host never had a complaint. I kinda understand that. What I don’t understand is how they can delete my wife’s account. She has done nothing wrong don’t think it’s ok what they are doing to her can they legally ban her for my past? Seems like they are discriminating her!

I had extensive bed bugs bites and had illness followed by due to bed bugs. I hired a airbnb to stay so that I can study my CPA units in melbourne. The place was infested with bed bugs and caused lots of issues for me including prolong sickness and failing of exam due to sickness followed by bed bug bites.

I can’t even begin to explain how many severe issues there have been. False use of cancellation policy causing lost $, terrible site security so we are still viewing personal details and messages months after we were removed from a listing, etc.

I referred a new host and she opened a new account, hosting more than Five people but Airbnb refuses to pay my $450 referral fee. All l get is incompetent customer service representatives that find excuses to brush me off. They offered me $20 for referring a friend (which means a traveler) but they refuse to pay the $450 referral fee they promised and advertised on the site.

On 01/04/2020 I stayed with a host in Cebu City Philippines who used fabric softener on all bedding, towels. After a day of travel arriving realized fabric conditioner was extremely toxic, cancelled reservation. Host refunded me for stay, but needed to to go through finding new accommodations, plus more importantly as a result of exposure to fabric softener got an upper respiratory infection & middle ear infection. As a result needed medication, seeing a doctor and being very sick for a week, causing me to change plans during the most important part of my trip. Have cancelled all of my reservations with no explanation. I am a super host and have been hosting for over 2 years. Recently listened to all the marketing coming to all my accounts and have invested in a new property. Soon after this my account has been closed down.
