I have always maintained an excellent credit and because of that, I keep getting offers with money backs after spending a certain amount within a particular time frame. I’ve never had any issues with these promotional offers until now. I had to spends $3000 within the first 90 days and then get 50,000 rewards points towards travels which translates to $500. I’ve met both requirements. The account was supposed to have been credited 8 to 12 weeks after the requirements are met. Up until now, Amex has not honored their end of the bargain even though I’ve met all the requirements.

Amex decreased my card limit from usd 7800 to usd 500 without informing me and given that I always had since 2013 a good payor/credit history. On Friday 7 February, 2020, I called customer service to make sure that the limit is unchanged. I was surprised on Monday the 10th of February 2020 that my limit was decreased to UsD 100 monthly without any notice as I was trying to buy a suite from Boss Outlet at the Metzingen Outlet in Germany. AMEX claimed to have sent an email. This never happened.

American Express closed my two business accounts and personal accounts. After the threy closed the accounts they refunded the wrong merchant- an attorney firms after the account was closed. The merchant who provided no service to me kept half of the refund American Express gave them. Now American Express stole my 250,000 travel points and shut down my personal and business accounts which were in good standing as well as negatively impacted

I added my father to my business account. Set his limit as 20k. American Express allowed him to charge more than 40k+ …. while the charges were pending the representative told me that they would not go through because of the limit, and they still did. When I requested to speak with a manager they kept saying a manger would call me back and they didn’t. Pushed my account into collections and never contacted me to resolve the matter

I rented a vehicle from Dollar for five days in Austin, TX. Dollar charged me an extra $255.55 for an ‘out of state’ fee. They claim I drove the vehicle 6700 miles in 5 days which is the equivalent of driving from Austin, TX to New York, NY, then to Seattle, WA and back to Austin, TX. It’s not physically possible.

I was told that because I was affected by the hurricane a few years ago that they would give me a credit increase . I had to fight tooth and nail to get it . Once I got the increase , they FAILED to disclose the Correct details about the increase . First , what they don’t tell you is , that amount is reported to the credit bureau as your card being OVERCHARGED! So they completely lied to me , put me in financial ruin , and refused to fix the problem ! They have continued to report me late since then , and have ruined my credit to the point I cannot get any loans or anything to help my situation. This has cause emotional and financial damage especially because during that time I lost my job r
