    American Express Claim for Compensation

    In January ,I, in good faith, applied for a Delta Sky Miles American Express Credit card and expected 60,000 bonus miles,if I spent at least $3000 on the card within 3 months. I did that. However, when I called American Express on June 1st and 2nd of 2020 they informed me that I did not meet the requirement and that I should have seen a drop down box saying I was denied the bonus miles during my original online application process. I either did not see this box or misunderstood it during their welcoming message.     American Express Claim for Compensation

    On april 1st mine n my husbands federal tax refund was deposited in my acct american express rejected it. This was 10,261 alot of money for us. I have tried several times to talk to someone with no luck. On may 8 our state tax refund was deposited and was available so they had no reason to deny my federal refund. Also they have bren charging me a monthly fee which was supposed to be waived since i have my ssi check direct deposited again i can not get thru to anyone.

    American Express Claim for Compensation

    Had a bill to pay Friday so I get to the ATM and try to withdraw the $60.00. Tried to swipe and pay for other things with money on my card and still got declined. Needless to say every time I tried to withdraw the funds, it charged me 0.75 per transaction fail.I did this 3 times. It stated to call my bank so I did. Needless to say I’ve been with American Express Serve for about 4 years. Once I got a hold of a representative, she stated I could only withdrwan $20.00 at a time plus the atm fees of $3.25 per transaction. This is ridiculous! Something needs to be done. With my SSI arriving soon, Im affraid of goung through this again.

    American Express Locked My Account

    I had both a corporate card that I guaranteed on behalf of my company as well as a Delta Reserve Personal AMX Card. My company fell behind on the corporate card as we were between venture capital financing rounds and had a balance of $110K. My personal Delta Reserve had a balance of $25K and I never missed a payment. AMX turned the corporate card over to collections and I worked out a payment plan. The collection agency told me if I paid the agreed monthly payment on time every month ($9,900) and paid the card off in 6 months then it would be reinstated with a credit line of $25K.     American Express Locked My Account

    On May 19, 2020 I tried to check the balance of my account and it said my account was locked for security purposes, I then recieved an email saying that my account was closed and suspended due to fraudulent activity. I tried to call american express serve to find out what was going on and my number had been blocked from being able to contact american express serve.     American Express Locked My Account

    On May 18th 2020 I recieved a direct deposit from the arkansas u employment office in the amounts of 52 dollars and 600 dollars. Ten minutes after receiving this direct deposit my cars was permanently suspended and I have no way to get my money to support my family. I called the customer service and tried to get information only for them not to give me any and they couldn’t tell me how I could get my money off the account.     I Have been getting my unemployment direct deposited to my serve card for over a month now on every Monday between the hours of 9pm and 10pm central time with no issues. All of a sudden on May 18, 2020 I recieved my first direct deposit of 52 dollars and was waiting for the second one of 600 dollars to post like every monday before this.     American Express Customer Service Lied to Me

    An American Express representative made a huge error and closed a dispute I had with a merchant over merchandise I did not receive. The dispute was due to close March 18, 2020 – my conversation with their rep. took place 1-2 days prior. Their representative actions of closing the dispute lead to the case closing and the charges issed back onto my account. I spoke with several other American Express reps. following their mistake for an appropriate solution, my situation has NOT been resolved and has impacted my available credit AND credit report hugely!
