On 01/18/2020 I was attacked by bank scammers who broke into my account and made 5 unauthorized transactions via Zelle totaling $2,490. When learned I immediately contacted Citibank and asked to freeze my checking account. Although these transactions were in “Pending” status Citibank on 01/21/2020 allowed those con artists receive money via different banks, like Choice Financial Group, JP Morgan, etc

I asked to close a CD during grace period. Didn’t happen immediately. Contacted CITI again during grace period and was reassured the CD will be redeemed shortly. A week after the request I noticed that it was renewed instead. I called again, and this time they redeemed it, while charging an early redemption fee.

I paid off my account $5,000, with Best Buy/Citibank 2 years ago. 4 months ago I received a notice from a collection agency, Radius, claiming that I owed the entire $5,000. I provided documentation to prove I paid the account in full and demanded that they provide me with documentation that I owed the money. They went away. Last week I received another notice from a different collection agency trying to collect the same money. Did Citibank sell my info bogusly? I’m very frustrated.

I applied for a $400 promotion to open my account if I open it with $15,000 and keep that amount in it for 60 days. During that 60 days, Citibank allowed fraudulent transactions on my account where my balance was reduced by thousands of dollars because they allowed these transactions. The money from the fraud was put back, but because my balance dropped below the $15,000, they are saying that I do not qualify for the bonus. They also locked up my funds because of the fraud, and now I have no ability to do anything with that money, and they’re telling me to keep it in there for the bonus, but there are telling me that I am not eligible for the bonus anymore. I have been on the phone with th
